Independent research, Singapore

About Jambrelis and how we research

We cover cloud accounting software for Singapore businesses and we do not sell it. This page explains who writes the research, what we check, and why GST, InvoiceNow and local support decide more than a feature list does.

Jambrelis is an independent editorial resource covering cloud accounting software for Singapore businesses. We are not a vendor and we do not sell subscriptions.

Our job is to help you ask better questions before you sign a contract, whether you are a sole proprietor filing GST or an accounting firm moving client books to the cloud. Every page on this site is written for that moment of decision, not for a product tour.

What we plot before anything else

GST

How a platform actually treats GST-coded transactions at filing time.

InvoiceNow

Whether the vendor appears on readiness lists, and what still needs checking.

Bank feeds

Which Singapore banks connect cleanly and how reconciliation behaves month to month.

Support

Who answers, in which time zone, and whether the number is a local one.

Migration

What moves over, what gets retyped, and how long books sit half-converted.

Who we are

Jambrelis is a Singapore-focused research project on cloud accounting. We publish comparison pages, compliance guides, and support-channel breakdowns aimed at SMEs and accounting practices. The site exists because the Singapore software market is crowded and most marketing pages skip the parts buyers actually need: what happens at GST filing time, how bank feeds behave, and who picks up the phone.

We are a small editorial operation, not a software company. Nobody here earns a commission when you choose a platform, and no vendor gets a page because of a sponsorship. What we publish is written for the reader who has to sign off on the subscription and then live with it through the first GST cycle.

What we research

We look at platforms available to Singapore businesses, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Info-Tech Accounting, QNE AI Cloud Accounting, and QuickBooks Online Singapore. For each, we examine compliance fit, core accounting features, support channels, and migration effort. We also track the frameworks that shape buying decisions, such as IRAS compliance expectations and the InvoiceNow-ready solution provider list published by IMDA.

How we verify claims

Vendors publish claims; we treat them as claims. If a company lists a Singapore phone number or service hours, we note it and suggest you confirm it directly. If a vendor says it supports GST or InvoiceNow, we point you to the check rather than vouching for it.

IRAS previously maintained an accounting software register, and recent commentary says the live readiness check has shifted toward other frameworks. That is exactly why independent verification matters more than a badge on a landing page.

Why local compliance is the lens

Singapore compliance is not a checkbox. GST treatment, InvoiceNow readiness, and IRAS-aligned reporting shape how software gets configured and used day to day. A platform that is excellent elsewhere may still need local setup work.

We write from the Singapore side of that equation, which means we care more about a vendor's local support and filing behaviour than about a long global feature list.

What we check on every platform

GST filing Verify with vendor
InvoiceNow Check current list
Bank feeds Test the match rate
Local support Call before you buy
Migration effort Scope the opening balance

Each row is a question, not a score. Where a vendor's answer cannot be confirmed from a public source, we say so plainly and leave the check with you.

Editorial independence

We do not rank platforms by affiliate payout, and we do not publish invented ratings, awards, or testimonials. Where the market genuinely differs, we say so, even when it means noting that a global platform's Singapore support is thinner than a homegrown vendor's.

If we cannot verify something, we either leave it out or label it clearly as a vendor claim to check. That is the whole policy, and it applies to every page on this site.

No paid placements

Who this is for

Our readers are Singapore business owners, finance managers, and accounting firms evaluating cloud software. Some are moving from spreadsheets, some from desktop tools, some from a legacy system that no longer fits.

The common thread is a need to get GST filing and reconciliation right without a full-time IT team. We write for that reader, not for a procurement committee.

What we do not do

We do not sell software, broker deals, or promise that any platform will pass a compliance check. We do not fabricate case studies or user counts. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.

No sales

Nothing on this site is for sale, and no link here is a checkout. If you subscribe to a platform, that contract is between you and the vendor.

No invented proof

No star ratings, no customer counts, no awards we did not receive. Where a number would help, we would rather point you at the source.

No compliance promise

The site is a research aid. The decision, and the compliance responsibility, stay with you and your vendor.

Unverified stays marked. When we meet a claim we cannot confirm, it is labelled as a vendor claim rather than repeated as fact.

Contacting us

If you have a question about cloud accounting software selection in Singapore, use the contact form or call the business phone number listed on our contact page. We read every message and reply during Singapore business hours.

We cannot give tax advice or act on your behalf with IRAS, but we can point you to the right questions to ask a vendor.

Corrections and feedback

If you spot a claim on this site that looks outdated, tell us. Singapore's software landscape and its compliance frameworks change, and a page that was accurate last year may need an update. We would rather correct a page than leave a stale claim standing.
